Graduate Medical Education

The mission of graduate medical education is to promote excellence and ensure effectiveness in all the graduate medical training programs affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Graduates will be proficient in patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and critical inquiry. All programs strive towards a model that delivers comprehensive, medically-effective health care and incorporates appropriate information and evaluation systems in clinical and educational activities, and integrates the expertise and perspectives of the university and its community-based faculty.
