Great Explorations

The program:

  • Photo of two middle school students learning about acids and bases.Is for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.

  • Provides educational programs for Hartford Middle School students at Bellizzi, Kennelly and Naylor Schools.
  • Provides in-school health professions an educational program for 6th grade students.
  • Provides after-school science, reading, math and preparation activities for 7th and 8th grade students.
  • Offers a four-week summer academic enrichment program for 60 rising 8th grade participants at the Bulkeley High School Health Professions Academy. Students receive instruction on language arts, math, science, college awareness classes and engage in educational programs to raise awareness in the health professions.
