Continuing Education Workshop
Professional development activities for grade nine through twelve teachers offered through the Department of Health Career Opportunity Programs.
Teachers identified for participation in professional development workshops have direct teaching responsibilities for the cohort of students involved in programs and activities.

Some workshops provide teachers with an update on current biomedical research applications and implications for their disciplines.
Designated programs provide teachers with specific examples of relevant biomedical concepts that can be incorporated into curricula.
Provide teachers with the availability and accessibility of the University of Connecticut Health Center library as a resource as they develop curricula.
