“My time at UConn clearly laid the framework for successful
transitions from medical school to residency, and from
residency to my career, and I couldn't be happier with
my choice.”
My time at UConn certainly was valuable
to me. Though I had quality exposure to many specialties,
I ultimately decided to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine.
My search for residency programs brought me up and down
the East coast, and then right back home again.
I started my residency in the Traditional
Internal Medicine Program at Yale New Haven Hospital in
2008, and nearly three years later, am now just a few months
from completing my training. A number of my UConn classmates
matched at Yale with me, and we've remained close friends.
After graduation, I will be joining a multi-specialty group
serving the Primary Care needs of southwestern Connecticut.
My time at UConn clearly laid the framework
for successful transitions from medical school to residency,
and from residency to my career, and I couldn't be happier
with my choice.
